* Don’t eat late at night.
* Eat on the edge of a plate or on a small plate to reduce portions.
* It is normal to enjoy food. Since you only eat small portions, make sure you have food that you like and is nutritious for you.
* Keep a food diary to record your food and liquid intake, as well as any comments about your progress. It can be reviewed regularly to help you get more benefit from the treatment.
* Try to drink at least eight glasses of liquid every day to maintain water balance and prevent constipation.
* Do not drink and eat at the same time, because this can cause overeating, abdominal distension, or vomiting.
* You can drink liquids such as water, flavored still water (try squeezing a little lemon into the water), decaf coffee or tea, herbal teas, clear soups, and diluted unsweetened fruit juices.

* Eliminate high-calorie beverages such as milkshakes, alcohol, and juices.

* If you suffer from nausea, try to move even if you don’t feel it, as this helps move food from the stomach to the intestines.
After removing the gastric balloon, you should continue to follow your eating habits and lifestyle changes that you have made to avoid gaining weight.
